You guys, I don't think I've ever smiled so much at a wedding! Kate and Luke's big day was chalk full of feels. There was an abundance of smiles, laughter, and tears of joy. It was kind of like an emotional rollercoaster.....accept for the rollercoaster only went up :) One of the coolest parts of the day was seeing the love and support of Kate and Luke's parents. There were multiple times throughout the day where I had to choke back the happy tears. Let's just say, if I've captured enough "parent love moments" at your wedding to create a collage, you know it was a good day. Check it out.

This couple is just wonderful. Kate and Luke's love for one another is completely evident and when you meet them you can tell right off the bat that they are best friends. Also, I can say with total certainty that Kate is one of the happiest and kindest brides I have ever worked with. She just smiles....all the time. Like that's her normal state of being and I love it! I'd be talking to her and realize that I had a big cheesy grin on my face because her happiness is just contagious.

To top it off, this couple has something else awesome going for them. They have the most adorable dog you guys! Porter was at the wedding all day (looking pretty dapper with his bow-tie) and oh my gosh what a good pup. He was so chill and very photogenic to boot.

Now let's get down to business and talk about all of the amazing aspects of this wedding day! I definitely need to start with the details. They were all gorgeous, but what really got me was how personal everything was. There were photos of parents and grandparents from their own wedding days. Kate wore her mother's bracelet and a hankie that her grandmother had given her when she was born. Kate's mom actually made her garters for her as well and they were absolutely gorgeous.

The decor at this wedding was beautiful yet simple with a vintage feel that fit in just perfectly with the romantic atmosphere of their wedding venue. Le Petit Chateau is such a beautiful location. Every time I shoot a wedding there I just can't help myself from getting swept up in the romance of the place.

The other detail that added so much beauty to this day was the flowers. Budget Bouquet and More did such an amazing job. Their arrangements were beautiful and whimsical and they were the perfect compliment to the rest of the awesome decor.

The reception at Kate and Luke's wedding was seriously a blast. Liz from Just a Taste Catering once again wowed everyone with her amazing culinary creations. PS there is a grilled chicken with cream sauce she makes that I could seriously eat all. day. long. No regrets. Then for dessert we had cakes and pies from Elle's Belles and they were equal parts gorgeous and delicious. I love a good pie at a wedding!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Kate had chosen to have all of the dancing out in the grass where their ceremony was held. It was definitely a good choice. There was plenty of room, the grass was green and cool, and the light was just gorgeous filtering through the trees. The location was the perfect backdrop for all of the emotional dances that happened. Kate's brother sang the first dance song for the bride and groom, and the father/daughter dance ended up being a father/daughter/father-in-law dance, which was so special.

After the first dance and parent dances were over, the party really got started and everyone went out to the dance floor (or dance field?) Either way it was awesome. DJ Drew with Bozeman DJ did a great job keeping the music coming and everyone had a stellar time.

I even got to steal Kate, Luke, and the rest of the wedding party for a quick stroll through the field at sunset. Definitely worth it because we got some awesome photos with gorgeous light!

Congrats to Kate and Luke! I feel so honored to have been a part of your wedding. The day was all about you two, your love, and everyone who came to celebrate with you. You definitely did the day right :) Best wishes!
